The Nurmuiža Hotel is one of the 33 buildings in the complex, with a history dating back more than 200 years.
Historically a servant’s house, it was later a doctor’s surgery. Today, the renovated building houses a hotel with 15 well-appointed rooms. The restoration process furnished the rooms without damaging the building’s historic appearance. The historic flooring, walls, and mantelpiece were preserved. The hotel’s seating area is a former fireplace, and the walls were deliberately not restored in their entirety to preserve evidence of historical events.
For everyone’s convenience, the lounge area has a communal kitchen with tea, coffee, water, and a fridge. The outdoor balcony has a hot tub and a lovely view of the castle pond and the historic Smede building.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 08:00 to 11:00. Guests can enjoy a variety of snacks from Kurzeme home producers and the manor’s garden, delicious warm dishes such as pancakes, eggs, and desserts, and delicious tea and coffee.
